I had marvelous fish and chips, hold the chips. Excellent tempura batter. Light and not greasy with a side of Asian style Cole slaw. Excellent. On the second visit, I had rainbow trout that was heavenly. Maybe a bit battered but delicious sides and spectacular tartar sauce. Everything on the menu is pricey. Salmon will nick you about $36. But fresh. Good outdoor seating, too.

Wonderful experience, I will return again and again. I want to try everything on the menu. We enjoyed the early dinner special. I brought an out of town guest and really impressed her.

We had dinner here with family from the area. Our experience was mixed. Some of the dishes were very good, like the fresh fish, while the fried oysters had a strange taste, like from reused oil. Service was prompt and courteous. The waterside setting was enjoyable. All in all, not bad, but not great either.

The best appetizer ever is the &quot;Hawaiian Ahi Nachos $14.95; Traditional Hawaiian poke served on homemade taro chips with wasabi aioli&quot; as described on their menu. During Happy Hour it is less expensive, but just as delicious. While there are many Anthony&#39;s locations, please don&#39;t make the mistake of thinking this is a chain. Each location (including this one in Gig Harbor) has the feel of a local restaurant. By the way, there are two reasons to go here rather than the more &quot;famous&quot; Tides Tavern: the view is actually better, and the parking is really a lot better.
